An Important Message From Monster

Hello!

It pains me to write this, but “the only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men (Monsters) to do nothing”, so write I must.

Lost Monster is MY business, born out of curiosity about the craft and the uses for leather from the mundane to the esoteric. Every single item I make is made for the joy of creating something from bits of leather that Joe Bloggs couldn’t make (without practice). My role – my company’s role - is to make the product, not pass judgment on the person using it.  

I freely, happily and with great satisfaction sit here, having had fantastic conversations with people from all walks of life about the products I make. Catholics, Christians, Jews, Pagans, Wiccans, Druids, Agnostics, Atheists and even a few Jedi.  I’ve engaged with gardeners, builders, carpenters, charity workers, police officers, nurses, and every other profession. I’ve spoken to kinky people, straight people, gay people, innocent people and adventurous people.  The point is, I’ve talked to all, and all are welcome. I do not discriminate, judge, or push my beliefs, politics or points of view onto anyone, nor will anyone that’s actively involved with Lost Monster (or any other brand I own). 

The only thing I will not tolerate – in any way, shape or form – is anyone attacking, judging, or in any way causing upset to individuals involved with my business based on anything my company does, where we trade, what we sell, or who we sell to. Any evidence of this sort of behaviour will be met with the most brazen, ferocious and unequivocal response, with the sole intent of shining an immense spotlight on the offender's unacceptable, outdated, and frankly sickening behaviour.

During my research, I had the pleasure of going to an “interesting” event held in a gay bar in Birmingham. The organisation in question has a mantra that pretty much sums up how this company will run…
